Nandamuri Harikrishna dies in car accident

Nandamuri Harikrishna died this morning after he met with a car accident. The actor and former MP met with a massive accident on national Highway near Annaparthy in Nalgonda district early Wednesday morning. He was immediately rushed to Kamineni hospital in Narketpalli. Doctors declared that he breathed his last at 7.10 at the Kamineni Hospital in Narketpalli.

He was 61. Harikrishna was the son of former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao. Harikrishna has three sons (one deceased) and a daughter. His two sons Kalyaan Ram and NTR Jr are popular stars in Tollywood.

He was travelling to Nellore for a wedding. Harikrishna was driving the car, two other members were with him when the accident happened. They have survived.

Harikrishna was popular for the child roles that he had done in the 60's. He also had starred in several popular Telugu films. Some of his popular films are “Sri Ramulayya”, “Seetha Rama Raju”, “Lahiri Lahiri Lahiri Lo”,  “Seethayya”, “Tiger Harischandra Prasad” and “Sravana masam”. Harikrishna is the fourth son of NT Rama Rao.
