Mani Ratnam's 'Cheliyaa' is releasing this Friday (April 7th). Even though Mani Ratnam's last film ('Ok Bangaram) was a hit and Karthi is also popular star in Tollywood, the movie has failed to create a huge buzz around it. Prime reason for this is that the songs have not generated enough enthusiasm among the youth. The album lacks peppy and youthful numbers like 'Ok Bangaram' had.  Also the recent trailer hinted that it is more of a serious film than a love story.

But inside reports say the movie has stunning visuals, and a patriotic theme. Despite low pre-release buzz, the movie might pick up if the positive reviews start pouring in.

'Cheliyaa' stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hyderi and it is being released in Telugu by Dil Raju.
