Story

This irks the rival companies and they seek help of a mafia leader Vicky Bhai (Rahul Dev) to take over the company. With mounting pressure from Vicky Bhai, Nanda Kishore commits suicide. Teju now turns Dharma Bhai to avenge against Vicky Bhai.

Analysis
The combination of director V V Vinayak and writer Akula Siva has given us sentimental action drama “Lakshmi” (2006), entertaining masala movie “Krishna” (2008) and Ram Charan starrer revenge thriller “Naayak” (2013). None of these movies boasted of any novelty in terms of plot or situations yet they went to become hits as the packaging was mostly appealing enough to the mass audiences. Timing of the release (Sankranthi period) also played a role. Like their previous collaborations, the duo has attempted a typical mass movie with a clichéd storyline.

Unlike their previous movies, the latest one “Inttelligent” doesn’t have a single sequence that can be appreciated. It won’t be preposterous to say that it ranks as one of the badly made movies ever. Clearly, director Vinayak has lost his form totally (first it was “Akhil” and now this).

Intelligence can only be found in the title, not in the plotline or screenplay. This is more of a dumbing down version of regular masala thrillers. Hero defeats the villain gang using his brains than brawn, but the ‘intelligent’ tricks are so idiotic. Sample: To divert a flight landing in Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to Begumpet airport, hero sends a drone. We get to see the clash of the Titans – Drone vs plane!

The script written by Akula Siva is full of idiotic situations. Everything in the movie happens in a silly way. The very plot line is outrageously bad: a mafia gang tries to take over a software company run by Nasser because he is running this company in philanthropic manner. It is downright silly to think a mafia gang can take over a popular software company.

I wonder how Vinayak and hero Sai Dharam greenlit this script. If I were to pinpoint all the clichéd and foolish scenes the film had offered, you would be bored to death. In one word it is utterly boring!

Sai Dharam Tej has given what is required (demanded) for his role but he too is clueless with the proceedings. He has tried to match the steps of his uncle Chiranjeevi in the remix of “Chamak Chamak Cham Cham”. Lavanya as Sandhya, daughter of rich businessman, looks pale and ill-informed. This is her first out and out massy outing.

Thaman has given passable songs. Cinematography by Vishweswar is good.

The writing by Siva is hackneyed. The less said about the direction the better. One wonders whether Vinayak has directed this or not?

The film’s title has wrong spelling (double ‘t’) as per numerology. How did they think that they can save this mess by adding just one letter to the title?

Bottom-line: ‘Inttelligent’ is one of the worst-ever made movies in Tollywood. It has outrageously clichéd story and boring narration. At end of the movie, comedian Duvvasi says: “Kondaru Paiki Poyaru, Kondaru Pari Poyaru…Mari Naa Paristithi Enti Anna”. Audiences feelings exactly!!!
