What's the Story?
Naveen Chandra plays a middle-class guy with whom Shruti Sodhi ('Pataas' fame) falls in love because she finds him the guy with the perfect character.  Her rich father (Murali Sharma) objects to the proposal and mocks at Naveen Chandra's status.  The guy tells him it's only he who can give the daughter true bliss, not just happiness.  

To know the difference between happiness and bliss, Murali Sharma, the smart businessman who has never made any loss, decides to make a flop film with Raghu Babu (as Rolled Gold Ramesh) as the director, as recommended by Posani Krishna Murali, himself a victim of Ramesh's direction talent.  The plans go awry when the film they make with Prudhvi and Saloni as the lead pair spoils the idea.  After a dose of sentiment in the climax, Murali Sharma knows the difference he always wanted to.  

What Works!
The film was always projected as Prudhvi's one-man show.  It turns out to be the case.  If you are someone who likes to watch a popcorn entertainer wherein Prudhvi says punch lines of everyone from Balakrishna to Prabhas and even Uday Kiran, you will find your moments in this film. Posani is once again endearing here.  He plays the role of a rich film producer turned pauper.  His indirect digs at the failure rate in Tollywood are hilarious.

What Doesn't Work!
The story is way too silly.  If all that the director wanted to offer an illogical comedy entertainer, where was the need to writer the Naveen Chandra-Shruthi love track? Murali Sharma's character is ridiculous.  He gets transformed with two praises in the climax.  Wow!  The screenplay is vaguely developed.  The BGM suggests one thing, but the expressions on the faces of Saloni and Prudhvi give out a contrasting emotion.

Performance Score
While Prudhvi revels in his kind of parodies, Variation Veera Babu is not among his best acts.  He is suffering from the 'Loukhyam' hangover.  Others are not noteworthy.  Saloni and Shruti look beautiful and glamorous, respectively.  Nothing more than that. 
 
Final Verdict
It's Prudhvi's show all the way. Uneven story and too many parodies hamper the proceedings. In bits and pieces the film entertains and has good comedy, but on the whole its boredom at its best.
